His Music of Love

Music is a salve for the soul, a healing ointment for the hurt. Sometimes music can reach me when nothing else can. The rhythm gives my thoughts cadence and order; the melody gives me direction; the harmony gives me peace, and the rhyme becomes the ribbon that neatly and beautifully ties up the present- the gift of music. Thank You, Lord, for songs that heal the soul and move the heart, for songs that strengthen and encourage us. Thank you for this gift, this balm for the soul.
